What’s new at SCFIT?

We’re always looking to develop what we do and do more to serve more people here at SC FIT. The last thing we want to do is see more gyms being closed, so we’re blending what we’re doing…

Now it’s time to announce some new classes on the timetable starting from Tuesday 29th September!

On Tuesday and Thursday at 1200 we’ll be introducing Zoom classes back to our weekly offering using our SC Home programmeming. We know that there are several people who are isolating for various reasons and we still want to include them as part of the SCFIT family. We know from recent experiences that classes live on Zoom not only work, but are extremely effective in helping people with their health and fitness goals as they don’t even have to leave the house to get a great workout in!

On Wednesday we’re bringing back mobility classes! We’ll be trialling a new concept of a split class – both live in person and on Zoom. This means that those who can get to the gym at 1100 can book a space, whilst those who can’t get here but who still want to get flexy can do the class live on Zoom from the comfort of their own home, office, garden or wherever they are in the world!

Why are we doing this?

In March we felt like the whole world had no option but to react to gyms being closed in the best ways that they could. We now recognise that there may be a call for an extended online offering with increased numbers of people self isolating and want to be proactive about getting these onto the timetable before we are potentially forced into it.
