Can you do CrossFit if you’re overweight?

Yes. 

This blog could end there, but it won’t.

For too long CrossFit’s poster boys and girls have been super-athletes and it’s understandable that some people may feel put off by that, or assume that everyone who does CrossFit looks like that.

In reality, if you walk into any reputable CrossFit gym you’ll see people of all shapes and sizes coexisting in the same place and each working on their own goals.  

Some may be in group classes, some may have PT, some may be working with a physiotherapist, some may be working on their nutrition, some may fall into more than one of those categories.  Regardless of what they’re doing, the staff should be making things inclusive and able to tailor things to different people with their different goals.
