Giving your child an excitement for fitness at a young age is like giving them a super-power! Not only is exercise crucial for children’s physical and mental well-being, leading to stronger bodies, improved cognitive function, and reducing the risk of obesity. It is also a fundamental aspect of supporting their confidence and mental well-being as they grow.
All of our action packed sessions are built around creative games and activities that use age appropriate weights (often just bodyweight), a variety of challenges using age-appropriate equipment in a positive, encouraging atmosphere.
Expect to see your child enjoying running, jumping, hopping, skipping, throwing, catching, balancing, hanging, swinging, lifting and problem solving.
Designed for Kids
Kids aren’t mini adults so they won’t be treated like them - we’re building movement literacy. Before specialising in sports or complex drills, kids need to learn how to control their body.

Our kids classes help children develop a positive relationship with exercise, paving the way for lifetime healthy habits.
Teamwork & leadership
Group classes teach teamwork, with age-specific games and activities to teach kids how to lead others through inspiration and encouragement.
Confidence
We build self esteem through accomplishment . We develop focus, patience and grit. We help kids manage stress and boost emotional health. We show them that being proud of themselves is cool.
Kids Class Schedule
Our Kids classes are 45 minutes in length, starting on the hour. We have a dedicated waiting area for parents, guardians and carers, or if you’re an SCFIT member yourself, you’re welcome to take part in an Adult fitness class whilst your child is working out! Your child is then welcome to hang out in the waiting area until your class is finished. Our class times are as follows:
